In Product Engineering you learn how to design a product using, for example, biological materials.
For instance, you could use plastic made from plants. Then, after use, you throw the product back into nature, where it decomposes again. But you also learn to design products that make life more enjoyable. This belongs to the B2C market (Business to Consumer market).
You learn how the user thinks and how to anticipate the wishes of the market to make your product a national or international success. Companies are faced with various challenges, such as recycling raw materials, emitting less waste and reducing the energy consumption of products. You see this, for example, in new household appliances.
