At the Vlissingen campus, you can find all study programmes in the fields of Economics & Management as well as Social Studies. The international programmes that are offered here are International Business, Logistics Engineering and Tourism Management.

Opening hours

During lecture weeks the Vlissingen location is open:

  • Mondays - Wednesday from 8:00 to 22:00.
  • Thursday - Fridays from 8:00 to 18:00.

On and around the following holidays all HZ locations are closed:

  • 29 March 2024, Good Friday
  • 1 April 2024, Second Easter
  • 9 and 10 May 2024. Ascension Day
  • 20 May 2024, Pentecote Monday

May holiday will be in week 18 (29 April till 3 May).

Summer holiday will be in week 30 till 34 (22 July till 23 August).

Transport and parking information

View parking facilities and directions to the Vlissingen location here. The building is easily accessible by car and public transport.

By train

There is a direct train connection from the main airport Schiphol, Amsterdam. There are also train connections from other airports such as Brussels, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Paris. HZ lies within walking distance from the Vlissingen railway station. The bus from the station stops in front of the university. Check the website of the national railway services for up to date travel information and train tickets. You can buy tickets at the NS self-service ticket machine (available at every railway station).

Attention: make sure you get in one of the wagons at the beginning of the train, only they will take you to Vlissingen (it also says so in and on the wagon, otherwise ask a member of the staff in the train).

Check the detailed information about the public transport from the airports Brussels, Charleroi, Amsterdam, Eindhoven or Rotterdam.

By car

From Bergen op Zoom, follow the A58 until the very end. Turn left at the traffic lights, then immediately go right follow the sign station. Cross the railway and then follow the road (Oude Veerhavenweg). The entrance to the HZ car park is on the right. There is ample parking space.

Around HZ and near the building on the Prins Hendrikweg (opposite the main entrance of the main HZ location on the Edisonweg) parking places are available. Please note: there is a parking ban in the area between Edisonweg, Oude Veerhavenweg and Prins Hendrikweg. Only park your car in the designated parking spaces.
