The Edisonweg site in Vlissingen consists of the main building, the HZ Tower and the PSD building. At this location, you can find all study programmes in the fields of Economics & Management as well as Social Studies. The international programmes that are offered here are International Business, Logistics Engineering and Tourism Management.

Opening hours
During lecture weeks the Vlissingen location is open:
- Mondays - Wednesday from 8:00 to 22:00.
- Thursday - Fridays from 8:00 to 18:00.
On and around the following holidays all HZ locations are closed:

- 21 April 2025, Second Easter
- 5 May 2025, Liberation Day
- 29 and 30 May 2025. Ascension Day
- 7 June 2025, Pentecote Monday
Week 10 (from 3 March to 9 March 2025) is Spring Break.
- Location Edisonweg: closed the entire Spring Break
- Location HZ Tower: open Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 17.00 hrs.
Week 18 (from 28 April to 4 May 2025) is the May holiday.
Summer holiday will be in week 30 till 34 (21 July till 24 August).

By train
There is a direct train connection from the main airport Schiphol, Amsterdam. There are also train connections from other airports such as Brussels, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Paris. HZ lies within walking distance from the Vlissingen railway station. The bus from the station stops in front of the university. Check the website of the national railway services for up to date travel information and train tickets. You can buy tickets at the NS self-service ticket machine (available at every railway station).
Attention: make sure you get in one of the wagons at the beginning of the train, only they will take you to Vlissingen (it also says so in and on the wagon, otherwise ask a member of the staff in the train).
By car
From Bergen op Zoom, follow the A58 until the very end. Turn left at the traffic lights, then immediately go right follow the sign station. Cross the railway and then follow the road (Oude Veerhavenweg). The entrance to the HZ car park is on the right. There is ample parking space.
Around HZ and near the building on the Prins Hendrikweg (opposite the main entrance of the main HZ location on the Edisonweg) parking places are available. Please note: there is a parking ban in the area between Edisonweg, Oude Veerhavenweg and Prins Hendrikweg. Only park your car in the designated parking spaces.
Do you have an appointment at the HZ Tower? There is no reception in the building, so on arrival it is best to contact your appointment about where you will meet.

Coming by car to an appointment in the HZ Tower? You will find parking spaces directly under and next to the HZ Tower. Is there no place there? Then you can park in the general HZ car park right next to the HZ Tower.
- Special parking spaces are available for people with disabilities and/or chronic conditions;
- There is a lift to all floors in the HZ Tower. Only the meeting rooms on the fourth floor are not physically accessible for people who are wheelchair-dependent or have difficulty walking;
- There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. The door to the corridor where the toilet is located cannot be opened independently if you are wheelchair-dependent or have difficulty walking. Attendants in the HZ Tower are certainly willing to help you if needed;
- There is no dedicated silence, prayer or pumping area available. However, there are enclosed conversation rooms without windows that can be used for pumping.
Physical accessibility
- Special parking spaces are available for people with disabilities and/or chronic conditions;
- The service desk at the main entrance on Edisonweg has a high and a low section;
- The building has markings on ramps and stairs for visually impaired visitors;
- There is a lift to all floors of the A, V and PE buildings and a lift to all floors of the L building;
- A stair lift is available in the media library. You can operate this independently;
- There is a stair lift near the balcony above the atrium. Would you like to use it? The service desk will be happy to help you;
- There are accessible toilets in the V-corridor, A-corridor and F-corridor on the ground floor;
- A silence and prayer room is available;
