Do you want to contribute to the transition towards clean and sustainable energy? In Energy Transition Engineering, you learn how to develop smart energy solutions that help reduce CO₂ emissions and decrease dependence on fossil fuels. You work with technologies such as solar and wind energy, energy storage and smart energy networks. By combining technology, sustainability and innovation, you help shape the energy systems of the future.
The energy transition is one of the biggest challenges of our time. During the programme, you work on practical projects related to sustainable energy, energy efficiency and innovative technologies. You collaborate with companies and organisations on solutions that have a real impact.
Why choose Energy Transition Engineering?
During this study track, you learn how to:
- analyse energy needs and energy consumption
- design sustainable energy systems
- work with renewable energy technologies
- develop smart and efficient energy solutions
- manage and improve energy projects
You gain insight into the latest developments in the energy sector and learn how engineering can contribute to a more sustainable world.
Part of the Engineering bachelor
You apply for the Engineering bachelor programme. During the first two years, you build a broad foundation in engineering, technology and design. In the later phase of the programme, you choose your study track: Product Engineering, Commercial Engineering, Energy Transition Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
