Location is the HZ at Het Groene Woud in Middelburg. Registration for the festive afternoon can be done through this link. You can also find the program here.

Interactive program

Jasper's inaugural speech is about the future of low trophic aquaculture and the role of the Dutch sector in it. In his speech, he outlines various lines of research of the lectorate.

Before, there will be an interactive program with Jasper's colleagues. During these experiences, visitors can learn about the research and the sector, actively participate, ask the researchers questions and taste the research material.

Contribution to important developments

Aquaculture in Delta Areas is one of the oldest research groups of the HZ and conducts research on low-trophic aquaculture species, such as micro and macroalgae and shellfish. The research contributes, among other things, to the protein transition and sustainable food production; important, global developments. To this end, the research group cooperates with national and international partners, but certainly also with entrepreneurs and organizations in the region.
