HZ Discovery Café | Mental health of young adults

The third HZ Discovery Café of the 2025-2026 academic year will take place on Tuesday, February 24, in the makerspace of the Joint Research Center Zeeland at Het Groene Woud in Middelburg. Researcher Sybren Slimmen will take you on a journey through his doctoral research into the mental health of young adults.

Friendly and informal

At each Discovery Café, two researchers take to the stage. In a friendly, informal atmosphere, they talk about their passion for their work, highlight a specific research project, or share their views on current developments. They also engage in conversation with the audience. The Café is open to anyone interested in research in and for the region, and the programme is announced well in advance.
