8:00 – Rise and Shine!

It's time to wake up and get ready for a new day at university. You might be tempted to hit that snooze button a few times, but don't overdo it—you don't want to miss your morning classes!

9:00 – First class starts

Classes begin, and even if you're feeling tired, attending them regularly is essential for staying on track. Before heading to class, grab a cup of coffee or tea to boost your energy and help you focus.

10:30 – Break time

Your first class is over, and you have 15 minutes until the next one. Use this time to grab a snack or drink, or step outside and enjoy the fresh air if the weather is nice.

10:45 – Another lecture

Time for the next lecture! It’s only 1 hour and 30 minutes, so stay focused. Bring a laptop or notebook to take notes. This will save you time later when you're studying, giving you more free time to relax or hang out with friends.

12:15 – Lunch break

You now have a 45-minute lunch break. If you didn't bring lunch from home, don't worry—the campus canteen offers plenty of options, from sandwiches and salads to typical Dutch snacks like frikandels and kroketten. Prices are affordable, so you won’t have to spend too much.

13:00 – Final Class of the Day

Time for another class, and possibly your last one. While some days might be longer, most don’t go beyond 17:45, so you’ll have evenings free to unwind or study.

14:30 – Done for the day!

Classes are over, and it’s time to head home. Take some time to relax, watch a TV show, listen to music, or take a quick nap before diving into your studies.

16:00 – Study time

If you have assignments or exams coming up, now is the time to start studying or working on projects. If you don’t have much to do, consider meeting a friend for coffee or going for a walk.

19:00 – Dinner

Time to eat! Basic cooking skills come in handy here, as preparing your meals can save money and be a fun part of your daily routine. Pasta is always a quick and easy option!

20:00 – Catch up with loved ones

Take a moment to call family and friends back home. Staying connected with loved ones can help with homesickness and keep you grounded.

22:00 – Time for fun!

If it's Thursday or Friday, there's likely a FISA party happening. FISA is the international student organization that hosts events, parties, and trips. Meet up with friends beforehand for a warm-up at someone’s house—just be sure to be a good guest!

Late – Time to head home

After the party, head back home safely. Remember, biking after drinking isn't the best idea. Take a quick shower, get some rest, and get ready for another exciting day tomorrow!
