Gabrielle Verbeeke

Gabriëlle Verbeeke has been working as a researcher at the Aquaculture in Delta Areas research group since 2017.

HZ University of Applied Sciences is not unknown territory for her. Gabriëlle studied Aquatic Ecotechnology at the college. She graduated in the Aquaculture in Delta Areas research group on the qualitative and quantitative culture of the marine microalgae species Rhodomonas sp. under the supervision of Christos Latsos.
After completing her degree, she immediately joined the research group. Her work includes the Coastal Laboratory project in the Waterdunen nature reserve. Coastal Laboratory is a testing ground for saline crops. Together with entrepreneurs, new ideas are being tried out.
