She did the bachelor in Environmental Sciences at Alcala University (Spain) and a master in Land and Water Management at Wageningen University.
At the HZ, she teaches the following courses: Water Governance, Research Methodologies I and II and Hydrology. Within the Resilient Deltas group, she has been involved in the FRAMES project and currently, in the SARCC project.
The two projects focus on flood risk management and adaptation in coastal areas. She has also started a PhD project in collaboration with Utrecht University on experimental governance of climate adaptation in coastal areas.
