Evelot Westerink-Duijzer

Dr. Evelot Westerink-Duijzer works as a researcher at the Data Science research group. Evelot is an econometrician and specializes in mathematical optimization. Her research interests lie in quantitative analysis and optimization issues.

Evelot holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Econometrics and Operational Research. She obtained her PhD in Operational Research with a thesis on healthcare logistics issues in vaccination and worked as a research lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since 2022, she has been working as a researcher at HZ University of Applied Science, first for several years at the Supply Chain Innovation research group and, since 2026, at the Data Science research group.
Within the Data Science research group, Evelot applies her expertise in optimization, simulation, and scenario analysis to various research projects.
