Last Friday, Ab Smit received the prestigious Golden Grab award, presented by alderman Coen Bertijn of the municipality of Vlissingen!
This wonderful award is a token of appreciation for the HZ's efforts in organising various clean-ups and conducting research into plastic waste. Together we make our environment cleaner and greener!
The award
The Golden Grab is a relay award that is passed on to a different organisation every three months. A great way to put sustainability in the spotlight! The handover was followed by a clean-up action together with Omnibus primary school. With the enthusiastic pupils of group 7 and 8, we cleaned up the area around the HZ.

The clean-up actions are linked to various research projects, such as those within the Clean Scheldt Cooperation Covenant, the Scheldt Youth Parliament and PLONS.
