Wednesday 8 March marks International Women's Day. On this day, women around the world take centre stage, we celebrate what women have already achieved, but also continue to fight for equality. Even in 2023, we are not yet where we need to be.
Unlimited Liveable
This year's theme is 'Unlimited Liveable'. How limited is our life today? Can women participate without limits? Is there a task for women to ensure an unlimited life together? How much solidarity are we actually showing each other and how can we improve this? How do you view this?
What can I do?
A programme has been put together to inspire, inform and create awareness. To encourage women in Zeeland, learn from each other or just have a good time together. At HZ and Scalda, you will receive a note with an inspiring quote on 8 March. Get inspired and start a conversation with other students, staff and visitors.

(Re)opening pumping spaceAt both locations at HZ, we have a pumping room that meets legal requirements. But they were not really cosy. At the request of pumping women, the 'personal college' working group has 'pimped' the pumping room and will (re)open party. What can you expect from this pimping session? Think personal storage cupboard, baby swap cupboard, inspiration book shelf, armchairs, (share) pin board and homely look. To make pumping during work/study time a lot more enjoyable. With a small budget, second-hand, we were able to pull this off. With this, we hope to be of inspiration to other employers.
