HZ University of Applied Sciences is one of 3,100 organisations that signed the Manifesto for a Sustainable Coalition Agreement.

It was handed over on Tuesday on behalf of the companies, organisations and educational institutions to MPs from NSC, VVD, BBB, GroenLinks/PvdA and the Party for the Animals.

With the manifesto, the signatories call on the forming parties to come up with future-oriented policies. "With a broadly supported coalition, we have a first move ready for a coalition agreement with which the new cabinet and the entire Lower House can get to work. It covers themes such as security of existence, climate, labour market, energy, education and entrepreneurship," said Judith Maas, director of SDG Netherlands.

The Sustainable Coalition Agreement sets out a vision of the future of the Netherlands that addresses ecological, economic and social challenges with innovative solutions and a long-term perspective.
