The next edition of the HZ Discovery Café will take place on Tuesday June 3 from 16.00 to 17.00 in the HZ Tower in Vlissingen.

Practice-oriented research in Zeeland

During this special edition, Barbara Oomen will talk about HZ's practice-oriented research and its importance for a province like Zeeland. Researcher Luc Verschuren of HZ Knowledge Centre Zeeland Society opens the café. He shares great examples of research, shows how the new Inwonerpanel Zeeland works and how that will make future research even more representative.

HZ Discovery Café

The HZ Discovery Café is a new initiative designed to show what practice-based research at the HZ means and can mean for Zeeland. In the café, a number of researchers take the stage each time. In a pleasant, informal atmosphere, they talk about their passion for their work, explain a specific research project or shine their light on current events. They will also enter into conversation with the audience. The café is intended for anyone interested in research in and for the region.
