The icon project ProceZ of the Delta Climate Center (DCC) will officially launch on Monday, March 10.

The Netherlands aims to be fully circular by 2050. The government is working together with businesses to ensure that, in 25 years, the economy will run entirely on reusable raw materials. ProceZ (Propelling Circular Economy in Zeeland) focuses on the Province of Zeeland and works on circularity in various residual streams (including the food chain), the reuse of wastewater, and the development and use of biobased building materials. In ProceZ, we also collaborate with businesses and government authorities.

Interests, Challenges, and Ideas

During the kickoff event, the project’s framework will be presented, and all participants will introduce themselves. Among the representatives from HZ University of Applied Sciences is Hans Cappon, Lecturer in Water Technology.

After lunch, we invite you to share your interests, challenges, and ideas for potential solutions:

  • Does your company have a residual stream that you would like to valorize, or do you know of an interesting biobased application? Share it with us—maybe we’ll find a match in ProceZ!
  • Are you facing legal barriers in your ambition to become circular? Speak with one of our circularity law experts on March 10.

Accelerating the Circular Economy

Together, we will explore how to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Zeeland. The event will take place at Dockwize, Edisonweg 41B, in the Municipality of Vlissingen. The program runs from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Interested? Sign up via this form.
