The demand for innovative solutions to accelerate transitions in the areas of water, food, and energy is growing. During the event Get Unlocked | The Food Edition on June 18, initiators Dockwize, FoodDelta Zeeland, and Impuls Zeeland, together with entrepreneurs, professionals, and students from institutions such as HZ University of Applied Sciences, will 'unlock' the food transition in Zeeland and beyond.
Get Unlocked is the innovation platform of Dockwize where challengers and solution providers come together, events take place, and innovative projects are tested and demonstrated at Innovation Point KAAP.
Jaap Korteweg
Get Unlocked takes place on June 18 between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Innovation Point KAAP. The afternoon starts with a keynote by Jaap Korteweg, founder of De Vegetarische Slager and Those Vegan Cowboys. Afterward, there are six experiences of which visitors can choose to participate in two.
HZ University of Applied Sciences presents the HZ Food Maze. Here, visitors can discover the food initiatives of HZ and how to collaborate with students and researchers from the institution. Faculty, researchers, and students from the new Food, Business & Innovation program, as well as the Aquaculture in Delta Areas and Marine Biobased Chemistry research groups, are involved, along with HZ Knowledge Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The Work Zone and HZ Nexus will also be present to discuss how entrepreneurs can collaborate on relevant issues.
Waarmakers
The event concludes at the Waarmakers pavilion. Here, the present pioneers in the food transition engage in discussions, and companies showcase their impact in the food sector. Discover and taste inspiring initiatives and innovations from both major players and emerging talents who are seriously engaged in the food transition.
