Join us on Tuesday, June 3rd for the conclusion of the Nuclear Technology minor and the nuclear education year at the HZ Tower in Vlissingen. The program runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Dutch government is aiming for a CO2-neutral energy system by 2050 and is pursuing this goal in part through the construction of two to four new nuclear power plants. These ambitions bring with them a rapidly growing demand for nuclear-qualified personnel. To meet this need, the “MMIP Nuclear Energy” program was launched in 2023. It focuses on strengthening the nuclear knowledge infrastructure through education, research, and innovation. As part of this initiative, the Nuclear Academy was founded. The Nuclear Technology minor is one of its first results.

HZ, Scalda, and the Nuclear Academy warmly invite interested parties to join them on Tuesday, June 3rd, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to reflect on and look ahead to the future of nuclear education in Zeeland and the rest of the Netherlands.
