During the event, researchers from the HZ Knowledge Centre for Zeeland Society will present ‘Leven in Zeeland’, the quadrennial study on well-being in Zeeland. The working language is Dutch.

They will explain how they approached the study and, based on the results, highlight how residents feel about living and working in Zeeland. Coordinator Bas ter Stege of the Zeeland Association of Small Communities (ZVKK) will reflect on the study from a practical perspective.

Opening of the ‘Leven in Zeeland’ exhibition

The HZ Discovery Café also marks the launch of the ‘Living in Zeeland’ exhibition. Elements of the study will be on display on the ground floor of the HZ Tower until 17 July. In addition, a film by Jacomien Kodde will be shown, you can view an interactive dashboard, and as a visitor you will be challenged to reflect on certain dilemmas.

You are most welcome

At the HZ Discovery Café, we aim to introduce people to HZ’s practice-oriented research. In a relaxed, informal atmosphere, our researchers will explain a specific research project or share their insights on current events. They will also engage in conversation with the audience. Afterwards, you can chat over some snacks and drinks. Admission is free and the event is open to staff, students, business contacts and anyone interested in research in and for Zeeland.
