The government wants to cut €1 billion from higher education. This would have a huge impact on the quality and accessibility of education and research. As an educational institution, we do not want to let this happen, which is why we are taking action on 25 November.
On Monday 25 November, a demonstration will take place from 13.00 to 15.00 on Malieveld in The Hague. This is just before the discussion of the education budget in the Lower House. The demonstration is organised by the AOb, the largest education union in the Netherlands.
HZ delegation
On Monday 25 November, we will go to the demonstration in The Hague with a delegation from HZ. Among others, Barbara Oomen, chair of the Executive Board (CvB) and Daphne Zerbib-Jasperse, domain director Business, Vitality & Hospitality (BVH), will go along. Would you like to join a delegation? Then sign up via the button below. Students can travel for free or at a discount with their student public transport card (depending on the chosen season ticket). For employees, travel expenses will be reimbursed.
