The Delta Protein project focuses specifically on investigating:

  1. what a ‘Theory of Change’ for a thriving and resilient protein sector might look like;
  2. the role consumers play in the transition towards such a sector;
  3. how entrepreneurs can be supported to participate in this transition and;
  4. how interventions can influence the present to realise the desired future situation.

The results will contribute to the development and implementation of a broader food vision for the future, in which the Zeeland delta is a source of healthy, sustainable, tasty and affordable food from both the marine and terrestrial environments. At the same time, this vision creates realistic income opportunities for entrepreneurs in Zeeland.
