From Wednesday to Friday, a Code Orange warning is in place due to the expected heat. Teaching activities and exams will go ahead as planned. The building’s opening hours remain the same.
Exams and teaching
Good to know during the hot days:
- Where possible, exams will be moved to cooler rooms.
- For final-year presentations, degree programmes may, in consultation with students, consider scheduling them in a cooler room.
- For other activities, such as meetings, the advice is also to move them, where possible, to a cooler room in the building or to a different time.
- The opening hours of the buildings will stay the same.
Free bottles of water and ice lollies
The facilities department is committed to keeping the buildings as cool as possible. In addition, extra drinking water is being made available:
- You can pick up a free bottle of water at the entrances to the buildings.
- You can also collect a bottle of water from exam rooms.
- You can pick up a free ice lollies at the catering of both locations.
