On Tuesday 24 February, Sybren Slimmen hosted the HZ Discovery Café in Vlissingen. He spoke to an audience of over fifty people about his PhD research into the mental health of students in a complex (social) environment.

He discussed the influence of the social environment, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the social environment, the interplay between how people respond to stressful situations (coping), academic pressure and the social environment, and how he involved students in his research. Sybren's contribution to the HZ Discovery Café was recorded and is here available as a podcast.
