On Tuesday, October 7, the symposium 'Language in Innovation and Quality' will take place as part of the SPRONG project Living Ecosystem.
The event is organized by MNEXT, the collaboration between HZ University of Applied Sciences and Avans, together with Hogeschool Rotterdam. The symposium will be held at the Floating Pavilion in Rotterdam.
Language is more than just a means of conveying meaning. In the context of innovation and practice-based research, language is not only a communication tool but also a defining factor in collaboration, impact, and quality. During the symposium, we will explore how language shapes, enhances, or sometimes hinders the way we work, from policy to the workplace, from research to implementation.Jens van der Weele from Transitietaal will give a keynote titled 'From Biobased to Meaningful'. This will be followed by sessions on two practical tools that use language and structure to enhance the quality of practice-based research, support collaboration in transitions, and apply AI in qualitative data analysis.
The symposium will take place from 12:00 to 17:00 on October 7. You can register via this website. The full program is available here.
