The eighth edition of the South-Western Delta Knowledge Day will take place on Thursday 26 November.

This year’s theme is water quality. The South-Western Delta Knowledge Community, of which HZ University of Applied Sciences is a member, is organising the event at the Topshuis in Vrouwenpolder.

Developments over the last 25 years

What is the state of water quality in the South-Western Delta? And what challenges do we face? During the Knowledge Day, participants will look back on developments over the past 25 years. Attention will also be paid to current issues, such as PFAS, and to the importance of water for our living environment. There will be inspiring keynote speakers, and breakout sessions will explore the theme from various angles. As in previous years, there will also be a networking fair. The event is aimed at researchers, policymakers, managers and other professionals who wish to work together to contribute to a future-proof delta.

The knowledge day begins at 9.15 am and runs until 4.00 pm. You can register via this website.
