The South-Western Delta Regional Conference will take place on Thursday 8 October. The venue is Sint Jan op de Markt in Roosendaal.
The theme this time is ‘Space for the delta of tomorrow’. Between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm, attendees will discuss the new South-Western Delta Implementation Programme 2050 and the second review of the National Delta Programme. Topics of discussion will include what next steps need to be taken. ‘After all, how do we create space in a densely populated delta for water and nature, agriculture and the economy, and a safe and liveable future? What can we do today, whilst leaving room for choices that will be necessary later on?’ reads the South-Western Delta website.
On this site, you can register for the conference, which is intended for anyone involved in or curious about the future of the South-Western Delta. From administrators, elected representatives, policymakers and researchers to entrepreneurs, civil society organisations, young people and other interested residents and professionals.
