On Monday 23 March, the Circular Expo Kenniswerf will open at Innovatiepunt KAAP. The exhibition during Circular Economy Week is an initiative of Delta Climate Centre in collaboration with partners at Kenniswerf 2040, including HZ University of Applied Sciences.
The exhibition explores how systems can decay in order to grow again. Much of what has brought us this far – rules, structures, habits – is beginning to clash with the limits of the earth and society. In nature, fertile soil is created because something first decays. Composting is not a waste process, but a transformation: what decomposes becomes fertile ground for new life. During the Circular Expo Kenniswerf, researchers, artists, entrepreneurs and policymakers will examine whether the same principle can also apply to our society: How do we live together? How do we work with each other? How do we organise ourselves?
The expo can be visited on:
- 23 March between 12:00 and 18:00
- 24 March between 9:00 and 14:00
- 25 March between 9:00 and 17:00
