HZ Stern
The HZ Stern is the annual award for the best graduation work of the HZ. The winner who submits the best graduation work receives a bronze statue of a Stern, an cheque of €1,000 and a certificate from the Executive Board. This price is awarded to the winner during a festive moment in the presence of, among others, family, friends and teachers of the nominees.
As the winner, you will also earn a place on the HZ Stern “wall of fame”. The other nominees will receive a cheque for €500 and a certificate from the Executive Board.
Categories
There are two categories for which a prize will be awarded. One winner will be chosen for the best bachelor's degree thesis and one for the best associate degree thesis.
Nomination
Each domain can nominate a few students for this award every year. If you think you are eligible, please let your education coordinator know. If your thesis research meets the criteria (e.g. innovative, relevant and useful), it can be included in the pre-selection of your domain. And if you are nominated, a professional jury will assess the graduation projects. The jury chooses the final winners.
