Erasmus+ allows you to do an international work placement after you graduate. This is only possible within the EU.
You can apply for an Erasmus grant under the following conditions:
- You apply for the Erasmus+ grant before the internship starts;
- Your internship fee may not exceed € 600 per month;
- You have arranged the traineeship during your final year of study;
- Your internship lasts a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 months**;
- The internship is full-time, i.e. at least 35 hours per week:
Your internship does not have to be directly linked to your graduation, but your right to an Erasmus+ grant will lapse one year after graduation. It is therefore advisable to complete your internship within 1 year after graduating if you want to receive a scholarship for the entire internship.
** Please note that you can receive a maximum of 12 months Erasmus+ grant per study cycle. If you have already received a grant, you may receive a grant for the remaining period (i.e. 12 months minus the period for which you have already received an Erasmus+ grant). Please note that the minimum duration to be eligible to receive the grant is 60 days.
