The Delta Power research group conducts research into the possibilities for delta regions to generate and store sustainable energy.

There are plenty of energy sources in delta regions: flowing water, wind, and sun. But what yields the most at affordable costs? How do these technologies work together? How can we store energy and feed it back into the grid? What is the role of hydrogen in this transition? How do we provide industry with sufficient sustainable energy? And what fits best with the environment while being ecologically responsible?

Delta Power tries to find answers to these questions through practice-oriented research. With the knowledge generated by Delta Power's research, cheaper and more efficient systems can be developed that suit delta regions worldwide. Edwin Tazelaar is the professor (lector) of Delta Power.
