Purpose Economy Lecturer

Scope: 0,4 fte - 0,6 fte
Work location: Middelburg

Are you the future-minded Economy Lecturer that will help us develop content of the “value creation” learning line?

You are a global citizen and that is why you are the right person to coach our students in our brand new Global Project and Change Management study programme (GPCM). It is more than just a study programme. In our GPCM community we welcome you as a member of our large network of changemakers. We believe the world needs a new generation that is resilient, connected to the global challenges and willing to contribute to new solutions. If you are committed to take a deep dive and use all your skills and knowledge you are most welcome to guide our students’ journey.

What you will be doing as a Purpose Economy Lecturer
Small-scale and intensive is the predicate that characterizes the GPCM study programme. That is why you are going to work with a select group of international students who follow the fast track. Our students are expected to be motivated to do curricular work to complete this above-average bachelor programme. Your experience as a circular economist or international consultant will help to stimulate and enthuse students to think outside their box and work hands on with big(ger) challenges involving multiple stakeholders. Your work will involve:

- developing content of the “value creation” learning line within the programme;
- providing education/teaching;
- coaching the students towards success
- organizing practice-oriented learning activities and involving the work field.

The second batch of students will start this September 2023. You will be part of a small-sized and highly motivated team that forms the core of the study programme, ensuring the further development and fine-tuning of the programme. You will also have the chance to work with colleagues available on demand to share their special expertise or experience. Together we will realise an unforgettable study time for our students. We intend to build a close-knit community together, embracing our students even when they are experiencing their world for a semester during their studies, dealing with sustainability issues.
