João Salvador de Paiva, MSc. is a researcher for HZ’s Building with Nature research group. He studied Water Management at HZ and also acquired a Master’s in Civil Engineering.
He has been part of the research group since August 2011 and has also worked on other Building with Nature projects. His focus is on using oyster reefs as a tool for coastal defences. He also teaches for the Civil Engineering course in addition to his work as part of the research group and also assists students with research projects related to Building with Nature.
