The family of Rainée Laveist (20) will hold a silent march in Vlissingen from 7pm on Wednesday 14 September. The Scalda student passed away last week as a result of a stabbing incident on the Bellamypark.

The silent march starts at 19.00 in Van Hallstraat, near the house where Rainée grew up. From there, the march goes via the boulevard to Bellamypark. At the spot where Rainée passed away, mayor Bas van den Tillaar will give a speech. There will also be a speech on behalf of the family. On the boulevard, near Pier 7 beach pavilion, the march stops for a moment of silence.

The family asks people to bring expressions against senseless violence to the march. Due to the expected crowds, people are advised to walk or cycle to the Van Hallstraat.
