The meeting will take place physically at the HZ University of Applied Sciences at Het Groenewoud in Middelburg, but online attendance is also possible.

Innovative, flood resilient landscapes are currently a hot topic in the South-western Delta. What are they and how do they contribute to water safety, ecological functioning and future use of our coastal landscape?

In three presentations, lecturers and researchers will discuss the technical, ecological and socio-economic aspects of innovative, flood resilient landscapes on the basis of current projects. Opportunities for multiple use of space, social innovation and new earning models are central to these presentations.

The presentations will be given by Joost Stronkhorst and Mascha Dedert for earning models, Vana Tsimopoulou for technical innovation and Teun Terpstra and Vincent Bax for social innovation.

After the presentations, everyone can participate in a Q&A session in which solutions and possibilities for cooperation are discussed.

You can register for the meeting here. On the form you can indicate whether you want to attend the knowledge session physically or online.
