Clean-up Vlissingse Binnenhaven

On Tuesday 23 and Friday 26 October the HZ Green Office will organize a waste clean-up of the Binnenhaven. The event is organised in collaboration with the City of Vlissingen, the company Amels, the organisation Fishing for Litter and Doe mee Verlos de Zee.

Help cleaning up the Binnenhaven
The organisation is in seach for volunteers to join the team on one or both of the following days:

  • Tuesday 23 October (10.30-15.00u) 
  • Friday 26 October (9.00-13.00).

Depending on your contribution students can gain free credits. But you can also just join us on a voluntary basis (most welcome). Everyone is welcome to join, also employees.

Binnenhaven
The 'Binnenhaven' is the water/ harbour in front of the Smart Service Boulevard and ‘t Smoske. It’s highly polluted with plastic waste, causing problems for the water quality and the ship screws. This event is part of a full week of activities, in which the City of Vlissingen is calling for attention for (mostly plastic) pollution.
