Graduation ceremonies

The graduation ceremonies take place from Wednesday 7 July to Friday 16 July. With regard to the corona virus, the ceremonies will be slightly different from the way HZ usually organizes them. Each study programme has its own ceremony, some of which are split into different timeslots. The reason for this is to have as few people as possible together inside the building.

Invitation
When it is determined that you qualify for your diploma, you will receive a personal invitation to your graduation ceremony. In this letter you will also find a link to the registration form. Check your invitation carefully to see at what time and in which timeslot you are expected to be present.

Pictures
Pictures taken during the graduation ceremonies are available in our online photo album.

Two guests per student

As a graduate you can bring a maximum of two people to the HZ, so that, for example, your parents, partner or another guest can celebrate this festive moment together with you.

We still have to take measures into account, including the distance rule. This means that we will split up the ceremony: your guests will watch via a livestream from Lokaal 0, while you are invited to take a seat in the Atrium. After the ceremony, you will meet your guests on the square in front of the HZ, and then walk together to the Lasloods to toast your graduation.

Only come to the ceremony if you are free of complaints. In the building, always keep 1.5 metres distance. We advise you to take a self-test before visiting the HZ. You can order a free self-test via www.zelftestonderwijs.nl. Self-testing is voluntary.

Livestream

You may not be able to invite all your friends and family to attend your graduation ceremony. Through the livestream, they can watch the moment you receive your diploma. You can watch via the livestream on stream1.hz.nl.

Tip: are you inviting someone to watch? Then tell them the time slot of your graduation ceremony!
