Anton Engels

Anton graduated as a physiotherapist in 1985 and has developed through various courses (including primary school teacher training) and masters into an expert in the field of (research in) sport, exercise and health in education.
Anton brings his broad working experience with him: teacher in primary education, programme manager of the Master Sports at Hogeschool Rotterdam and Sport Science at HZ University of Applied Sciences. Anton represents in the lectureship the pillar sport, exercise and health in education in close cooperation with the lectureship Healthy Region of HZ.
With his research, he wants to contribute to the improvement of health throughout the education column.
