Article on heat stress on Land and Water website

HZ researchers Jean-Marie Buijs and Jasper van den Heuvel contributed to an article on heat stress on the Land and Water website.

Lecturer Teun Terpstra's Resilient Deltas lectorate was one of the research groups, which participated in the study 'Citizen Participation in Climate Adaptation' that looked at this topic, among others. Heat stress is a major challenge in climate adaptation.

In the Netherlands, relatively much measurement has been done outdoors to determine temperatures, but in 'Citizen Participation in Climate Adaptation' this was also done indoors. You see this more and more. So you can also determine heat stress in homes. Read the article here (NL).
