Some 500 students from all over the world study at HZ University. As a result, the university breathes a truly international atmosphere. Apart from that, you are offered plenty of opportunities to ‘go international’ yourself, e.g. through assignments, project weeks, excursions, work placements en exchange programmes abroad.
Study abroad
HZ has exchange agreements with partner institutes on higher professional level in many different countries. In stead of just staying in Vlissingen for three of four years, you can study a semester abroad without paying extra tuition fees. Not bad at all, considering you can spend six months studying in France, Germany, Spain, the US or Canada for the same college fees!
A work placement abroad
Doing a work placement abroad, will give you the great opportunity to become acquainted with other company cultures and other ways of working. It’s a fantastic way to expand your knowledge of other cultures and languages, it also looks really good on your CV, which may enlarge your career options and last but not least you have an experience you will never forget!
