Work placement
HZ has an extensive network of companies, which gives students opportunities to choose from a wide range of work placements during their studies. Moreover, HZ maintains close contact with the business field by integrating companies' projects into its Bachelor programmes. This means that students, once graduated, have excellent job perspectives.
The experience of working inside the corporate culture of one or more companies will make a direct contribution to your success at the start of your career.
HZ Bachelor programmes consist of six semesters of theoretical education and two semesters of work placements. There are two types of work placements.
• The work experience placement during the third year
During the first work placement, you gain practical experience and learn to apply your theoretical knowledge in a work situation.
• The final research project during the fourth year
During the second work placement, you apply your theoretical knowledge and practical skill to analyze and presentation you suggest solutions that the company can implement.
For both work placements you will be supervised by an in-company mentor and a supervisor from the HZ faculty.
