Accreditation

HZ is a government-funded institute, which allows it to award officially recognised degrees and legally protected titles to graduates of its accredited programmes. To obtain government funding in the Netherlands, institutes must meet a number of quality requirements. All accredited programmes are listed in CROHO, the Central Register of Higher Education Programmes. The English-language bachelor programmes of HZ University of Applied Sciences have been accredited by the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). HZ Bachelor's programmes are entitled to issue bachelor degrees within their own domains.
